Each attendee (yes, even you, dear host) takes on a character and dives headfirst into a night of intrigue. Who’s guilty? Who’s innocent? Synopsis

What could be better than the hot days and sultry wine-soaked nights of Napa circa 1979? Why, a murder to solve of course! Patriarch Tad Marsh has demanded his nearest and dearest well, lets just say nearest, gather round to celebrate his birthday. As an enticement to have them actually attend – he’s threatening to change his will and disinherit anyone who doesn’t show. The future of Marsh Estate is at stake. Character List

Bonnie Marsh | Tad’s elegant first wife and mother of his two adult children. 

Cassie Marsh | Tad’s current wife. Much younger, very beautiful and desperately unhappy.

Diego Flores | Viticulturist at Marsh Estate. The Valley is his first love, the vines are his passion. 

Jared Marsh | Bonnie and Tad’s son. Jared fancies himself an entrepreneur, but he never quite manages to pull off any of his deals or schemes. 

Martha Stracke | Tad’s assistant. She is young, attractive and calm under pressure. 

Otto Bauer | Mysterious newcomer to Napa Valley. 

Rose Marsh | Bonnie and Tad’s daughter. Rose has had a series of meaningless jobs and even more meaningless flings with unsuitable men.

Si Styles | Tad’s oldest friend, when Si fell on hard times Tad offered him a job managing the Cellar Door.
